My brothers I apologize for my column being late. I want to thank everyone for electing me as Grand Knight. I will do my best to improve the council in the upcoming fraternal year. One of my highest priorities is to recruit a new generation of members. I would like to welcome Father Greg as our new Chaplain. Our council now has a young Grand Knight and a youthful Chaplain. I'm hoping that Father Greg can work with us as a team to recruit these new members. I would also like to wish the very best to Father Jim upon his unexpected retirement.

A lot has been happening in our council we had a great installation mass and ceremony thank you to everyone that helped. We had our first C&B drive at Saint Brigid's, we have another drive at Our Lady of Hope on November 13 and 14. Please choose a mass to help sell raffles. Our Octoberfest was a success, we had almost 50 people attending. Thank you to everybody who put it together. Please come out to our functions to support our council.

Upcoming events we have our mass for the deceased members on November 13 at 7pm at Our Lady of Hope celebrated by Father Greg. We will have following the mass coffee and cake downstairs. On December 11 we will be having our annual Christmas Party at 7pm at Our Lady of Hope. Please bring your families to the party. Thank you in advance for your support.
